  10. April–July 2023 – Dr. Ye Tian participated in a three-month flexible medical aid mission with the China Medical University Aid Team in Xinjiang, serving at Tacheng Regional Hospital. During this period, he performed single-port thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery—the first minimally invasive lung cancer surgery in Tacheng—and successfully saved a patient with cardiac injury, specifically a right atrial rupture, which marked the first cardiac surgery performed at Tacheng Regional Hospital. His work was featured in three news media and public platform reports, generating significant social impact. Dr. Tian was honored with the title of “Outstanding Aid Expert in Xinjiang.”
